Tender Slow Cook Grass-fed Roast
For those of you who have purchased beef through our partner farm this is a great recipe to try out with your roast. Since the cattle are 100% grass-fed the fat content is much less and requires a little tweaking on roast recipes. This recipe is by far the best roast recipe that I’ve ever eaten!

  1. Rub the season salt and pepper all over the roast. Heat a pan on the stove to slightly above medium. Allow pan to heat up. Add the avacado oil and butter and sear the roast on all sides.
  2. Once the roast is seared, add the roast to the slow cooker. Add all the veggies except the carrots and potatoes and broth around the roast.
  3. Cover and cook on the warm setting for at least 15 hours.
  4. After the 15 hours, add the potatoes and carrots and cook on low for 5 more hours.
