June Family Farm Days

Friday, June 26th – morning is 9a-11am

Friday, June 26th –  evening is 6p-8p
The evening Farm Day we will be doing the typical tour along with everyone helping to do evening chores and put up animals.  We will be offering snacks including hot dogs and s’mores. Feel free to bring a brown bag meal.

Once a month we host Real Food Ranch Farm Days where everyone is welcome, come hang out with all the animals and learn all about farming without any chemicals!  We have a super jammed packed full of tons of learning tour where everyone can jump right in the the animals. On the tour you’ll learn about our pigs, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, learn all about what goes into raising chicken for eggs, we’ll visit our meat birds and learn about how they are raised and processed right here on the farm, sometimes the donkeys, horse and pony visit us on the way to our garden where Richard who is a Certified Master Gardner share what we’ve learned over the last 4 years of growing veggies and fruit for our family, next we head to our doe goats and their kids and then head back to the house for snacks and visiting.  For the extra adventurous ones you can take a small hike down to the creek where there’s tons of petrified wood and an occasional fossil. All that to be said we’re super laid back and if your little one melts you can head back to the house or if it’s your jam, you can spend the whole time at the zip line.
